We have added our first 'Story of the Week' to the tab of the same name. "Tom's Crucifix," a very, very good read!
I read this story to my children at the end of our first day of school. It was truly wonderful! There was not a dry eye in the room. I teach an age group from 4 - 17 and they all enjoyed it with the exception of the 4 year old. It was a little too long for her. When I questioned my 6 year old after reading it, he was able to answer all the comprehension questions I asked him. So the aim of the book, as you will read in the preface, worked, for the children understood what I read.
Next Sunday we hope to start posting a children's sermon for each week of the Liturgical year.
