Here you will find Children's books that I have re-done for my own children. They are in PDF format so that you can print and bind them, if you choose to do so. They are all old Catholic stories and Children's readers.
This is the first of a set of old Catholic readers that I am doing for my younger children to use. The content is Catholic through and through and teach some catechism as well as morals. It is a treasure! I have not edited the stories and poems, they are just as they were in the original book but I have added comprehension activities for each of them. Feel free to print and use them for your own children if you so choose. This makes an 8.5 x 11 book. The next in the series will be a 5.5 x 8.5 book. There are 6 readers in the set and I plan to do all of them.

Please note: I have set these up so that they can be printed on both sides of the paper cut down the center and bound. The finished book is then 5.5 x 8.5. If the cover is printed on heavy card stock and laminated it is much sturdier for little hands.
This is a book about all the Friends of Jesus from the Angels He created down to all the people who saw Him and were with Him before He ascended into Heaven. Another good read aloud or to use as part of their religion.
This book tells about each of the twelve Apostles, how they were called by Christ, where they lived and preached and finally how they died. A good book in itself or to enrich a religion or Catholic history course. We using ours with "Leading Events in the History of the Church."
The file below is meant to be printed on both sides of the paper, stacked, scored and stapled in the center. Or you can cut the pages in half and bind them however you wish. Each printer is different - on mine I can print the odd pages only - put them back in the paper tray and then print the even pages on the other side. With it being a pdf file there are many options available in the print menu.

This little book my younger children especially loved. I read it several times over during Lent. My nine year old kept saying, "Wow, Mom, isn't God amazing! I love His miracles."
The three little books below: Apostles' Creed, Our Father and Hail Mary are meant to be printed on both sides of the paper, stacked, scored and stapled in the center. Or you can cut the pages in half and bind them however you wish. Each printer is different - on mine I can print the odd pages only - put them back in the paper tray and then print the even pages on the other side. With it being a pdf file there are many options available in the print menu.
