Joan of Arc was known as the "Maid of Orleans." She was a Martyr and is the Patroness of France and of Soldiers. It can be purchased here. St. Bernadette Soubirous nun habit. St. Bernadette was a Sister of Charity of the Order of the Sisters of Nevers. She was declared venerable by Pope Pius X. She was declared "Blessed" on June 2, 1925, by Pope Pius XI. She was officially canonized a Saint by Pope Pius XI on December 8, 1933 She is one of the Incorruptibles. The sacred relic can be viewed in the Chapel of Saint Bernadette at the motherhouse in Nevers. St. Rose of Lima Costume for 18" dolls. St. Rose was a Sister of the Third Order of St. Dominic. The Dominican habit is white throughout except for the professed sisters who wear a black veil faced with white. When out of the convent the sisters wear a black mantle or cape. The simplicity and dignity of the habit is enhanced by the long full length scapular which is worn over the tunic. We have made the traditional crown of roses that St. Rose is pictured with. The habit also comes with the brochure you can see below. |
