St. Rose of Lima Costume for 18" dolls. St. Rose was a Sister of the Third Order of St. Dominic. The Dominican habit is white throughout except for the professed sisters who wear a black veil faced with white. When out of the convent the sisters wear a black mantle or cape. The simplicity and dignity of the habit is enhanced by the long full length scapular which is worn over the tunic. We have made the traditional crown of roses that St. Rose is pictured with.
