![]() St. Rose of Lima Costume for 18" dolls. St. Rose was a Sister of the Third Order of St. Dominic. The Dominican habit is white throughout except for the professed sisters who wear a black veil faced with white. When out of the convent the sisters wear a black mantle or cape. The simplicity and dignity of the habit is enhanced by the long full length scapular which is worn over the tunic. We have made the traditional crown of roses that St. Rose is pictured with. The habit also comes with the brochure you can see below.

Wow, what a great job! I bought this for my niece and goddaughter and it exceeded my expectations. You did a great job with packaging and the info sheet. I just sent a link to my Catholic homeschooling friends who have their girls in an American Girl club. High 5!

I am so excited to give this to my Goddaughter who's middle name is Rose. I would love to see an outfit in honor of our blessed mother Mary. Do you do special requests? Thank you so much for sharing your talent with us and helping our children embrace the saints.

Sarah your work is just beautiful, you have such a talent! The st. Rose of Lima costume is darling. I am thankful that I can give my daughter something like this to help ,in all areas of her life(even play) to encourage her faith! I also purchased a book about this great saint to go along with the costume! Thank you so much!

Thank you, Sarah, for the beautiful St. Rose doll habit. I was very pleased with my order and working with you. The quality of your handiwork is very impressive. My daughter recently had her First Profession in a Dominican monastery, so I used the St. Rose habit to dress her childhood doll! I plan to use it to prepare my six grandchildren for their first visit with their Aunt-nun whom they have not seen since her Entrance! The doll will eventually find a new home with my daughter's goddaughter who happens to be one of the six grandchildren. Incidentally, I just knew I would place an order with you, Sarah, when I read that you are a home school teenager who loves to sew because that is exactly how I would have described my daughter just two years ago! May God continue to bless you and may your sewing talents continue to bring as much joy to others as it brought to me!

I brought my daughter's doll dressed as St. Rose to Camp WeHaKee, an all girls camp owned by the Dominican Sisters of Sisinawa. I worked as the camp nurse and brought the doll as my mascot. The nuns that were in residence during my time at camp requested that Sr. Beatrice (that is what they called the doll, after my daughter) be kept in their cabin. They got a kick out of having her as a room mate.
